History
The Gondrand Group is one of Europe's oldest freight forwarding businesses and remains under private ownership to this very day.
The history of the medium-sized global forwarding and logistics operator began in 1866, with its foundation in Milan. The steady growth of the local forwarding company led, in 1902, to the formation of a joint stock company headquartered in Brig (Switzerland). Gondrand later moved to Basel, which remains the site of its head office. An international network of over 70 branches now stands as the legacy of this gradual, almost 150-year process of expansion.
