History
The transition from a local cartage firm to a medium-sized, internationally active transport and logistics company began in 1866. It was the year in which Gondrand was founded in Milan. The business grew briskly, and in 1902, Gondrand was transformed into a joint-stock company with headquarters in Brig, Switzerland. The company later moved to Basel and since 1989 has traded as Gondrand Ltd. Thanks to continuous expansion from the early days of its founding, Gondrand now disposes of an international network with its own branches and partner companies.
